Four Styles, One Floor Plan Project Finished

IMG_1718.JPGSeeing the English Tudor, Spanish Colonial, Craftsman and French Country designs side-by-side, it’s easy to see how the same plan can be modified to suit each client’s style preference. When I started this project, I had a favorite design; by the end of the project, surprisingly it had changed!

If you’d like to find out more about these designs, contact Dennis or Justin at  Bainbridge Design Group.

French Country

FullSizeRender 9.jpgTwo down, two to go.  The French Country was a delight to render. I just love the look of the slate roof. The pea gravel pathway flanked by lavender transports me to the French Countryside. It amazes me how this new home design has such a strong sense of history. That’s a prominent design objective of the Bainbridge team.

Four Styles, Same Floorplan

Challenge: Portray the same floor plan in four different styles: Craftsman, French Country, Spanish Colonial and Tudor.

What a cool concept from the team at Bainbridge Design Group.  How do we communicate to the viewer the idea that they are looking at essentially the same house but with a different look dependent on the client’s own style preference?  Idea: Keep the trees the same in all four renderings so that it’s obvious it’s the same lot. Let’s see  how to make that work.

So that the focus will remain on the house, I think simple trees, but ones with strong forms will work well. Stay tuned to see the project develop.
